Q: Are the roads really as narrow and dangerous as I keep reading about?
A: The main roads are good and very safe. The smaller roads are quite narrow but people don’t speed and it is easy to stop and pass each other. Because some of the roads are like this, it just takes a little longer to get to some more remote areas.
Q: How much does it cost to eat out?
A: Its good value to eat out here, you can easily have a starter, main and drink for less than 10 Euros per person.
Q: How much do taxis cost?
A: They are very cheap, anywhere in a town really won’t cost you more than 3 Euros.
Q: What side of the road do they drive on?
A: On the right
Q: Will they speak English?
A: In most shops and restaurants, yes.
Q: What is the public transport like?
A: There are regular buses on the main road that join all the main towns, but Taxis are a good alternative as they are so cheap.
